Joining a new school is a significant transition for both students and families. At AWS, we have a comprehensive onboarding programme designed to ensure every new family feels welcomed, informed, and connected from the very first day.
Our buddy system, orientation events, and dedicated support team make the transition as smooth and enjoyable as possible for everyone.
How we welcome you to the AWS family
A comprehensive orientation day for new families covering campus tours, meet-the-teacher sessions, and essential information.
Every new student is paired with an experienced student buddy who helps them navigate school life and build friendships.
New parent networking events and mentor parent programme to help you connect with the broader AWS community.
A transition coordinator is available throughout the first term to address any questions or concerns from new families.
New family orientation is held one week before the start of each term. Additional orientation sessions are available for mid-year joiners.
We encourage all parents to join the PTA, volunteer for school events, and attend parent education workshops. Our community coordinator can connect you with involvement opportunities.
